Dr. Luis J. Fujimoto is a Board Certified Periodontist. Dr. Fujimoto received his Doctor in Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) or dental degree and Certificate in Periodontology or specialty degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine; He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Post Doctoral Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the Department of Post Graduate Periodontology and Implant Dentistry of the New York University College of Dentistry; He serves at several national and international private and govermental organizations. Currently serving with the New York State Board for Dentistry a licensing and policing body for the New York State Education Department under the United States Department of Education. He is the Immediate Past President of the North Eastern Society of Periodontists-second largest periodontal specialty organization in America & became their first Asian President; He lectures nationally and internationally, author of several scientific and clinical publications, and recipient of multiple Fellowships, Awards and Citations. He was awarded the coveted ADA Golden Apple Award-the highest award given by the American Dental Asssociation; He is founder and CEO of ISC, Inc. a NPO for the Development and Advance od Dental Science; He is the first and only holder in the world outside Japan of the Diplomate of the Japanese Board of Periodontology; He is in the private practice of Periodontics with Services in Implants.
